You’ll access this treehouse using the keypad code provided. You’ll use the staircase and shared platform to reach the "Bark."

The Hickory: Bark is your perfect treehouse getaway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee! On the main level of this 194 ft² treehouse, you will find a mini fridge, microwave, coffeepot, and eco-friendly silverware, dishware, and cups for a treehouse dining experience! You can find 2 bedrooms, one accessed via a ladder to a loft, with queen beds. In addition, you have a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Within your treehouse, there are tons of windows so you can enjoy the unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains! You’ll also have access to a large platform deck - perfect for dining outside when the weather is sunny!

Layout: Upon arrival, you’ll have access to 1 parking spot right out front. You’ll access your treehouse via a large staircase with oversized, stone steps. You’ll then find your suite on the platform deck. On the main level is a bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Located above, there is a loft accessed by a ladder and fit with a queen bed. On the shared platform, you’ll have access to a shared firepit and chairs. You’ll also have access to the shared, covered bar.

Please Note: There is no TV in this treehouse pod. If you'd like a treehouse with one of these options, please check out The Hickory: Acorn. Similarly, there is no desk area for remote work.

Please note that you will be sharing the platform, firepits, chairs, covered dining porch, and resort amenities with other guests. If you prefer to have a more private stay, we suggest looking into booking “The Hickory;” with that, you’ll claim both suites who share your platform. However, you will still be sharing access to resort amenities such as hot tubs, grills, and firepits. We do offer more secluded, private treehouses aside from “The Hickory,” as well. Please view our other listings – we'd love to host you!
