Calling all shoppers! The Smoky Mountain area is the perfect place to get your holiday shopping done. Tanger Outlets, found in Sevierville, has all your favorite stores and amazing outlet prices! Plus, there’s a few dining options nestled inside the shopping center, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon. If you prefer more unique gifts, there are many small business shops around Gatlinburg!
Christmas Themed Shows
If you’ve ever visited the Smokies before, you know that this town loves a good show! Between comedy shows and local theater, there will be a ton of holiday performances for you to enjoy. Dollywood also has many fabulous, elaborate performances all year round! Dolly Parton is sure to spice it up with some holiday cheer.
Play in the Snow
The Smoky Mountains typically get a good amount of snow around Christmastime. However, the area loves to play in the snow year-round! Ober has traditional snow tubing, year-round indoor ice skating, and Tennessee’s only ski and snowboard slopes. It’s a must-do activity, especially for kids!
See the Lights
The entire town will be painted with holiday decorations, but there’s a few places that truly stand out when it comes to lights. Dollywood always has a massive Christmas lights feature. If you’re closer to Sevierville, you need to check out Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland!
